In the past, the production of professional quality corporate videos was delegated to outside agencies. Corporate business units hired marketing firms and video production houses because those outside agencies were the only ones with both the required expertise and the expensive equipment needed to generate high-quality results.
Quantum teamed up with the Communications Media Management Association (CMMA) to survey their members—media production managers from leading enterprises—to learn more about the benefits and challenges of creating video in-house.
Download the eBook, “The Changing Landscape of Corporate Video Production” to get the following questions answered and more:
• Will in-house creative teams continue to ramp up in production?
• What video formats are they currently producing and delivering?
• How are they archiving their content?
• What challenges are in-house teams facing as they generate more content?
Today, that is changing. As the cost of video production technology drops, more corporations are recognizing the value of bringing production in-house. According to a recent report by Vidyard, 85% of businesses surveyed now have internal staff and resources producing videos in-house.
A growing business is usually a good thing, but for talent acquisition teams, growth on a large scale can pose some unique recruiting challenges. That’s because rapid expansion can confront talent acquisition with the need to ensure that as the company grows, quality of hire doesn’t shrink.
Making the right talent management decisions requires a specific understanding of what talent management actually is and does. The goal of a talent management program is to create a highly responsive, high-performing, sustainable organization that meets business targets.
Finding talented candidates can be challenging. Automating recruiting can improve candidate quality and increase efficiency. This paper outlines how to reduce time to hire by 50%, reduce cost per hire by 70%, and hire quality people.
Integrated Talent Management: Improving Business Results through Visibility and Alignment: Research shows the vast majority of organizations have only achieved integration across two or more elements of talent management, those that have are reporting superior performance gains.
This paper provides insights into recruiting practices that enable acquiring and retaining a high quality workforce. Uncover new sourcing, assessment, process, and green opportunities to cut recruiting costs by quantifying the reduction of direct costs savings and benefits from technology.

Being responsible for one-third of a business’ success already puts HR in a critical role. But it’s not just about finding the best people—it’s about finding the best people, at the lowest cost, with the lowest possible attrition and the best possible performance. And it’s about guiding your executive team to the right decisions using the language they understand best: numbers. Talent management—covering everything from recruiting and compensation to ongoing education and retention—has traditionally been managed in silos, with a series of disparate systems and disconnected processes and reports. In today’s data-driven world, CEOs demand more. This new study conducted by HR.com explores what’s working for organizations today and the biggest gaps to fill.
In an era when human resources departments are constantly being asked to do more with less, it’s clear that something needs to be done. As more and more resumes pile up for each position, HR teams need help to make a quality hire quickly.
Fortunately, IBM Smarter Workforce technology can help, by providing companies the ability to test candidate skills at the beginning of the hiring process. Using simple and convenient skills assessments, it’s easy for HR departments to separate the serious candidates from the rest of the applicants. Once this is done, considering the candidates and making a quality hire becomes much more manageable.

Located in the English Midlands, the Leicestershire County Council enjoys a strong national reputation for doing things differently and achieving results. In 2009, it was named Council of the Year - the first County Council to achieve such an accolade and despite the tough economic climate, it continues to deliver high-quality services to the people of Leicestershire.
Seen as a trailblazer in many areas, the Leicestershire County Council leads the way in working with troubled families. In partnership with the National Health Service, police, district councils, and others, the council has provided services for these families in need, while cutting bureaucracy and reducing costs.
Like most public services, Leicestershire County Council has faced the ongoing financial challenge of government funding reductions. As a result, the council has taken early action to find efficiency savings and new ways of working.
